These are goods that require individualized packaging. They can be handled in 2 different ways: on the one hand, there are those loads that can be handled individually; and on the other hand, there is the unitized general cargo, i.e., loads that for their handling during the logistics process are unitized in supports such as boxes, pallets or containers.

In both cases the total load is counted in units.

This is cargo that is not counted in units, but by mass and volume criteria, since it is merchandise prepared to be transported directly, where the means of transport itself acts as a container, generally specialized containers.

In other words, these are goods that are shipped loose, without packaging. Examples include gases, liquids or similar substances.

They are of exceptional dimensions, large and almost always very heavy, exceeding even the size of transport vehicles and requiring the use of accompanying vehicles and traffic adaptation for their transport, such as structural elements for the construction of bridges, for example.

These are products whose shelf life is limited or determined by an expiration date, such as fresh or packaged foods. This implies a need to complete the logistics process in a specific period of time and a storage that facilitates stock rotation.

The storage of perishable products must be done under specific conditions until they are sold, taking care of safety and hygiene, temperature and humidity conditions and performing a quick loading and unloading process.

Restricted goods are those that by legal mandate require the authorization of one or more competent entities to be placed under a specific customs procedure.

In this category we find, for example, pharmaceuticals, perfumes, cosmetics, among others.

Valued cargo is cargo with a value exceeding $1000 per kilo. Precious metals, banknotes, precious jewelry, among others, are also considered as such.
